Nordbridge Consulting was founded by Mats Karlsson, driven by a deep passion for entrepreneurship and a commitment to helping founders succeed.
The journey began in Sweden, shaped by military service that instilled discipline, resilience, and leadership under pressure. This was followed by six formative years at Ericsson Sweden, building a strong foundation in technology, product development, and global operations.
Mats then spent a decade in Silicon Valley at Ericsson’s startup accelerator, working at the intersection of innovation and scale. During this time, he helped build and grow new ventures—taking one enterprise technology business from incubation to a standalone business unit, scaling it to over $400 million in revenue, including a $1.1 billion acquisition. As senior Finance Manager for this business, he led the financial strategy, planning, and performance management throughout its growth journey, bringing a hands-on CFO perspective to scaling.
He also holds an MBA from Wharton, adding a rigorous foundation in finance, strategy, and entrepreneurship.

For Fractional CFO engagements, we work on a monthly retainer structured around the scope of financial leadership your business needs — whether that's part-time involvement or a more embedded arrangement. Retainers are proposal-based and scaled to your stage and complexity.
For Scaling Operations, every engagement starts with a Diagnose — a fixed-fee diagnostic at $7,500 that maps your unit economics, operational workflows, GTM motion, and financial foundations, and delivers a prioritized scaling roadmap. From there, engagements move into Align — our implementation tier, retainer-based and typically starting at $8,000 per month — and for companies ready to push, Accelerate is a strategic partnership priced on a proposal basis.
